The type of research in this thesis is field research using qualitative descriptive methods, data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews and libraries. With the Miles and Hubermen model data analysis technique, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the local government and Pokdarwis have fully contributed and carried out their roles in the development of the Puncak Koto Panjang tourist attraction. Regarding the development of the Puncak Koto Panjang tourist attraction, both in terms of construction, tourist facilities, tourist attractions, and empowerment of the local community, the results can be seen. not yet seen properly.
